HEPCA – organisation which cares about our beautiful Red Sea started new program “Turtle Watch 2.0”
It is monitoring program which has been created to collect data on sea turtles. Data collected by volunteers have proven to be very useful to the conservation of the marine environment.
How can you help?
Big part of us while diving in the Red Sea have a camera with us.The facial pattern is unique for each turtle so for identification we need pictures from each side of its head. All that along with information where and when the turtle has been seen need to be share on HEPCA facebook or even with Be DIver and we take it from here and pass your information to HEPCA ourselves.
I hope many of you will help us with the project.
